The Review and Herald (September 3,1889) described God's Justification by Faith Message, as water, quenching the thirst of those who eagerly sought the Messiah's provisions, highlighting the fact that "the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us, not because of any merit on our part, but as a free gift from God...". Such a blessing to know that our (Food) Manna, the Word of God, is sure, as we, God's children are promised the complete Truth (Isaiah 33:16-17, Psalms 37:25, John 14:6). Thus, we being fed the Heavenly Word of God must develop a genuine hatred or abhorrence for sin (Review and Herald March 18, 1890) [A Soul Sealed at Character Perfection pages 38, 84].

WHAT IS SPIRITUALISM, CAN THE DEAD SPEAK TO US ?
God has given us all things by virtue of the Word. The Spirit of man is where the Character of humankind is stored. Proverbs 20:27 edifies that "The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly". The writings of Solomon edify that the spirit of man is our light and truth. Here, we see Solomon expounding on the fact that God uses His Divine Spirit to search into the humanistic spirit of man, spirit to Spirit. John 15:4 teaches us that the Husbandman, God the Father, the Pruner will remove things from our Character that require eradication. The Spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. Things found in our character and minds shape the way we worship our Creator.

We must have a genuine fellowship with God, in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23-24). We must remove anything that hinders advancement and progress in the Lord. As our character development and cleansing continues; we must sacrifice anything that is hindering our advancement in the Spirit of Christ, removing anything ungodly. All the works of the flesh must be removed from our human spirit. Then and only, then, can we receive the Seal of the Living God (Ephesians 4:30). Solomon in Proverbs 23:7, tells us that what we think in our heart, is what we are; our thought processes reveal what is in the human spirit. Here, the heart is defined spiritually as the seat of intelligence, as the heart's expression in this instance, is not congruent with what is in the human mind. Psalms 119:9-11 teach us that we can not hide from things which are manifested in our heart, as " Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee ". When we pray we are talking to God and when we are studying and abiding in the Word, God is responding to us (John 15:1-7).
(The Great Controversy page 428-432). Christ being our Vine allows a process of purging, eliminating all the defects of character. Once the harvest, God's remnant, are fully purged, then and only then can Christ leave the Most Holy place to prepare for His speedy return to reap the ripen harvest (Revelation 14:14-16). We must abide in Christ in order to reach a point of Mark 4:26-29 's "ear" of corn overcoming sin (Matthew 5:48, Acts 3:19, 1John 3:9, Testimonies for the Church Volume 3 page 43, Christ Object Lessons page 330 paragraph 1). Christ is the Vine and His Father is the Husbandman, forming the Deity within the Godhead. If we are not abiding in Christ, we can NOT perfect Character. We must have God formed fully in us (Galatians 4:19, Colossians 1:27), focusing on the Messiah, identifying what is in His Will. John 15:1-7 identifies that we can do NOTHING without Christ, the Vine.
We abide in Christ, by surrendering to Him fully, as we study the Word. If we do not have an active prayer and study life, then we are not abiding in Him. Having a New Covenant Experience, we must accompany such with an abiding symbiotic, absolute, sanctified Messianic relationship, as converted and repentant from our fleshly nature. We can not fool the Lord. We must ensure that we truly have a born again experience, purging out the old worldly, fleshly ways, abiding fully in the Savior. That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit (John 3:6). Once a New Covenant Experience is achieved, we can go on, preparing for the outpouring of the Latter rain which will bring the Harvest to its full maturity, the Full Corn in the ear (Matthew 5:48, Mark 4:28, Acts 3:19, 1John 3:9, Testimonies for the Church Volume 3 page 43). This will prepare the 144,000 to withstand trials and tribulation without Christ, our Intercessor and Mediator (Daniel 12:1, 1Timothy 2:5).
We can not overemphasize the importance of personal bible study, as it is essential for nourishing our new lives in Christ. Spiritually, we must receive the truth for ourselves. We must seek and have a relationship with God, surrendering and submitting our lives fully to Him. Within this relationship, we can ask God and He will provide all things, according to His Divine plan. The first hours of the day should belong to the Lord, a private devotional time, nourishing our souls. Our spiritual lives if left undernourished will die spiritually of starvation; a branch withering away having no source of life. The Holy Spirit will move us to pray and study, asking wholeheartedly for spiritual growth and development. We must abide in Christ, having His Word, abiding in us. Once we keep the Word, magnifying the Ten Commandments and the Faith of the Messiah, we can thrive Spiritually from Everlasting Light (Isaiah 8:20, Revelation 14:12).
Hebrew 4:12 identifies that the Word is sharp, edifying that we must find empowerment in the Word, spiritually. The Word is quick, alive and powerful. God establishing everything through His Word, remembering the creation of the earth, as God spoke and all was done in Perfection (Psalms 33:9, John 1:1). This is the same word that is given to us, enabling us to abide in Christ. Hebrews 1:3 edifies that Christ upholds all things by the Word of His Power. In six days God created all His creations, which remain functioning until today, upheld by the Word. This same Word is given to us, in our relationship with God and our studies. When we awake in the morning, we see the beauty of the sun, remembering God's Divine Eternal Power. When we fall from Truth into sin, we have separated ourselves from the Word of God (Matthew 5:48, Acts 3:19, 1John 3:9, Testimonies for the Church Volume 3 page 43).
In order to Overcome sin, we must abide in the Word and its Power. While Christ was tested by Satan in the wilderness, He responded "It is written", identifying the Power in the Word (Matthew 4). Hebrews 4:12 edifies that the word is filled with Power. We are intelligent beings, therefore we can choose whether we uphold the Word. We can either accept or reject the Word and its Truth, the difference between standing on Truth or being Overcome by the World. Far too often, we step out of our relationship with God, resulting in us being overcome by Satan, who takes control. The Word is "piercing" and a "discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). The Apostle Paul's analogy, empowered by God, teaches us that the Holy Spirit gave him the Power to write, edifying that the Word is like a two-edged sword. Deep within the human soul is the human spirit, "the joints and marrow", Paul makes a comparison to the soul and spirit, as the soul is the bone and the spirit is the marrow. The spirit is the highest developed area in the human soul. God made human spirits so that He could relate to us, because God is a Spirit (John 4:23-24).
We were made in the image of God, such a notion has far more deeper meaning than our minds can contemplate. Paul further states that the soul of man is a comparison to bone and marrow, once the spirit has been revived, then the Spirit of God has taken up residence in our bodies, allowing us to overcome the flesh. Now the Spirit of God takes over, allowing it to be Sanctified. The body manifests our behaviors physically, visibly, allowing human communication and physical movement. The Apostle Paul says the Word "is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). Our thoughts and motives originate within the Spirit, similar to how red and white blood cells begin in the bone marrow. The Human spirit can not survive the death of the soul, within the marrow is the life, the defense mechanism. The life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). We must have the Word of God hidden in our Spirit. Hebrews 4:13 edifies that everything is manifested in the sight of God, as He observes everything. The study of biology indicates that there are both red and white blood cells. The blood cells are the primary defenses in the human system, providing immunity fighting against sickness and disease. Similarly, when we store the Word of God in our spirit, we will have immunity against the disease of iniquity and lawlessness: sin is non-compliance to the Ten Commandments (1 John 3:4).
God uses the Word, the Lamp, to search within the inward parts of the human spirit within the human soul (Hebrews 4:12). The Word and Wisdom of God is Yeshua, Christ Jesus, created in the flesh, overcoming the world; remaining spotless and without blemish (John 1:14, 16:33, 1 Corinthians 1:24,30, 1Peter 1:19). Remembering the onset of creation, God the Father executes all work through the Word, the Wisdom of God (Psalms 33:9). Christ is the Head of the Church, yearning to empower a body of Christ, necessary for the vindication of His Divine Character, ultimately concluding the Great Controversy (Ephesians 2:21-22, 4:21-31). Remembering that God wishes that we have the Word in our Hearts and in our minds, the Divine Spirit works through the Word, reaching the human spirit. If the human spirit is separated from the Word, then the Word has no Power in our lives. We must allow God, the Father, to do His work of searching deep down in our soul (John 14:10). The writings of Solomon teach us that what we think, is what we are. When the Lord reveals flaws in our Character, we must thank Him, as we pray for God to remove it and replace it with the fruits of the Spirit. When we are born again,we are privy to the Divine Spirit of God. The Word then gives life and produces according to the Divine Nature and Character that we chose to possess. As he thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). The Divine Spirit, like a lamp searches our inward parts of the soul. Zechariah 12:1 edifies that the Spirit of man is created and formed by God, the difference between our spirit and God's Spirit is that God's spirit is Divine and Eternal. When Adam was made in the image of God, he was given a spirit, enabling him to commune with God. Man's spirit was created in Adam, and since Adam sinned our spirit can die. The soul and spirit of man is not immortal and it can die. Ezekiel 18:20 edifies that "the soul that sinneth, it shall die".
We must be born again, within a New Covenant Experience with Christ, through the power of the Word (Hebrews 8:10, 10:16). The spirit that has died can be reformed. The Apostle Paul edifies in Ephesians 2:1, that before we are quickened, we are dead in trespasses and sins. Within Hebrews 4:12 we learn that the Word of God is quick and powerful and without it , we are dead to our trespasses. Without the Word, we can not be made Spiritually alive. This same thought is expressed in Ephesians 4:18, as we are separated from the blindness of our heart. Before we are born again and formed spiritually in the life of God, we are ignorant and blind. Our heart and soul and mind needs our Spirit to be refined and lightened from that which is dead. This is how Christ makes us new, through the Word that produces the Eternal Power to give the Light, thus, we need the Spirit of the Lord in our human spirit (Romans 1:20). Zechariah 12:1 teaches us that when we are spiritually dead, we need the light formed from the Spirit of God. The Lord forms us in His image, giving us the Spirit through His Word, empowering us, englightening us, allowing us to live the Christian life. We must abide in Christ (John 15:1-7). Without the Spirit of God it is not possible for us to walk in Christ.
The Lord is in the business of forming His Divine Spirit within us. Adam gave up God's Spirit through His sin and transgressions. John 1:12 edifies that in order for us to be born again, worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth, we must be born of the Spirit (John 4:23-24). John 3:3-5, teaches us that we must be born again, to see the kingdom of God. The Lord through His Word quickens and revives us spiritually, requiring us to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Without the indwelling of the Spirit, our worship will not be accepted, and trespasses will cause spiritual death. Proverbs 20:27 must be remembered as the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. God uses the Divine Spirit to manifest secret sins. Sin is non-compliance to the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20, 1 John 3:4). The Ten Commandments, the Law, and the Testimony of Jesus Christ, the Word, is our sole Guiding Light (Isaiah 8:20). The Spirit shows us who we are so that we can be delivered from our lawlessness and iniquity. 2Corinthians 5:7 edifies that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
God's Remnant & Character Purity
God is returning for a church without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27). "The Lord has a great work to be done, and He will bequeath the most in the future life to those who do the most faithful, willing service in the present life. The Lord chooses His own agents, and each day under different circumstances He gives them a trial in His plan of operation. In each true-hearted endeavor to work out His plan, He chooses His agents not because they are perfect but because, through a connection with Him, they may gain perfection" (Christ Object Lessons page 330 paragraph 1). "The glory of Christ is revealed in the law, which is a transcript of His character, and His transforming efficacy is felt upon the soul until men become changed to His likeness. They are made partakers of the divine nature, and grow more and more like their Saviour, advancing step by step in conformity to the will of God, till they reach perfection" (SDA Bible Commentary Volume 6 page 1096 paragraph 4).
We must boldly approach His throne, crying out for purity, asking God for mercy and grace (Hebrews 4:16). The power of God is given unto all who are willing to receive it fully and believe, as without faith it is impossible to please God, while diligently seeking Him (Romans 1:16-20, Hebrews 11:6). 1 Thessalonians 5:23 edifies that we are to be preserved blameless and faultless in spirit, soul and body before the Lord, the Creator, who is the only wise God, able to keep us from falling (Jude 1:24-25). We must understand and believe, because a lack of faith is the greatest issue between God and His remnant. Similarly, the nation of Israel was not able to enter into the promise land because of lack of faith, as they sent spies into the land, fearing giants.
Ezekiel 20:12 edifies that only Christ can sanctify us, and He gave us His Sabbaths; a visible manifestation of the living Sealing footprint. Proverbs 4:18 reminds us that God requires us to increase in knowledge daily, learning and arriving at increased wisdom. The more we listen and study, the more we will believe as our faith grows, having a constant connection to Christ. God makes it clearer each day that we walk in the pathway of truth. If we do not believe, the pathway of truth becomes dimmer and dimmer; distancing us from the Creator. Yeshua is the way truth and life (John 14:6).
Power is invisible but, we can visualize its effects (Romans 1:20). We must have faith to see that which is invisible. Romans 5:20 edifies that there is far more grace in relation to sin. The word of God is complete power, as God spoke and things came into being (Psalms 33:9). God commanded and the sun took its position, maintaining its position to this day. This is the same eternal power that created the sanctified Sabbath, empowering God’s remnant to perfect characters, reigning victoriously over sin (Matthew 5:48, 1John 3:9). This same, eternal power, causes the sun to rise each day; within this energy driven universe: God’s power sustains the sun and planets, all components within the solar system (Psalms 33:9, John 1:1).
Enforced Sunday Law, the mark of the Beast, is nearer than we think (Revelation 13:11-18). All must be serious about their soul salvation, standing for the ministry of God. Earthly, Babylonian Kingdoms have fallen. Spiritual Babylon denotes anything that is initiated outside of God’s divine plan. John 18:36 edifies that Yeshua’s kingdom was not of this earth. The latter rain outpouring with the message of righteousness by faith, constituted the onset of the loud cry (Zechariah 10:1, James 5:7, Revelation 18:1-5, Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers page 91-92). The last resort of Satan will be to pass and enforce National Sunday law, a death decree, persecuting the seventh-day Sabbath-keeping saints, by means of imprisonment and punishment (Great Controversy page 604-608). Satan will initiate his final resort once the remnant people of God utilize the power of God unto complete sealing, having a fixed, immutable relationship with Yeshua, accepting His gift of perfect righteousness (Philippians 3:9). Babylon is fallen, is fallen and we must not be found within it, as it is doomed to collapse (Revelation 18:1-4). God's infinite everlasting power is evident in the display and retention of the sun, the moon and the stars. Satan aims to control the mind and conscience of mankind all over the world. The adversary aspires to have dominance over the god-given liberty of all, as he desires to be worshipped (Isaiah 14:14-18). We must advance in sanctification growing in truth (1Peter 3:18). Satan fell away from truth failing to repent, and thus he will be destroyed. Satan wants the populace to believe that it is acceptable to continue sinning until Yeshua returns (1John 3:8). However, mankind has been renewed, given a gift of a New Covenant Experience through Yeshua, the Last and Second Adam, a renewing spiritual reproductive line for all who choose it (1 Corinthians 15:45).
Yeshua can bring us to a point of being eternally fixed. Angels of mercy will apply a seal to our foreheads, preserving us during the times of tribulation, the seven last plagues, caused from a degeneration from God's truth and laws [Ten commandments, God's immutable character]; a separation from the Creator (Exodus 20, Revelation 7:1-4, 16:1-17). Angels are currently holding back the winds of strife, praying that we perfect characters, unto Yeshua’s speedy return (2Peter 3:12-13). God will not fix a seal to anyone that is found with iniquity in their lives, as He knows who belong to Him (2 Timothy 2:19). John the Revelator saw 144,000 a large number in relation to people that God has been able to perfect character within, given biblical history. 1Corinthians 3:10-11 edifies that the foundation is Christ. We must fully submit to Yeshua, allowing a complete transformation. God’s children must accept the ways of God, not permitting a life of sin, as it is a functional contagion (1 John 3:4). Isaiah 28:1-14 states that we must study the bible line by line and precept upon precept. Death and hell are caused when the symbolic material of our human structure or buildings are constructed outside of the will of God (Isaiah 2:17). When Yeshua lays a foundation we are not to be led away by the ways of carnality (Galatians 5:16-21).
Yeshua is the best material, a living stone. Ancient Israel was disobedient as they failed to build their house on the best material, Yeshua, the Chief Corner Stone. 1 Peter 2:7 reminds us that Yeshua is a Precious Stone; the Head of the Corner Stone. Ancient Israel was caused to stumble, because they rejected, Yeshua, the best building material, a solid foundation. 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 edifies that all other foundations will be unstable and shatter. The Chief Corner Stone can be trusted, as it has been tested and proven to be secure. Gold, silver and precious stones are desirable and Yeshua has edified us that the fire of persecution will purify us as precious stones tried in the fire (Zechariah 13:9, Malachi 3:1-3, Titus 2:14). We are to accept Christ the precious stone (1 Peter 2:7-8). The fire or persecution does not create character, but it is the test, exposing the material that is used to make the building, the character experience. Yeshua has been brought to the test, winning victoriously (John 19:30). The higher the temperature, the purer the precious stones become, eliminating waste matter. Every man’s work shall be revealed by fire or persecution. Through the fire of persecution, one can identify the quality of materials that are brought to each character experience. Wood, hay and stubble will instantly be devoured as they are not built on Yeshua, the best foundation, the Living Stone. Our house must be built on Christ, the ROCK. This is a powerful message, teaching us about where Christ needs to be in our life. Christ holds all eternal power. The Creator of the universe can allow us to perfect characters, unto complete sealing, hastening His imminent return (2 Peter 3:12-14).
